Dear Family and Friends of the Caribbean,
This call for support comes from the heart. Hurricane Melissa struck Jamaica on Tuesday, October 28th — leaving devastation for families across the island, and beyond.
For so many of us, Jamaica is more than a beautiful place. It is a home — in location and in spirit. It is a place that has shaped who we are. It has nourished our roots, our memories, and provided a sense of belonging — a warmth we still carry, no matter where we are.
The Caribbean has long stood on the front lines of climate change, facing storms of ever-greater magnitude. And each time, these islands rise again — with resilience and grace.
In the wake of Hurricane Melissa, a collective of artists have come together to use art — our shared language of hope and connection — to support recovery and renewal for the communities that need us most.
This is not just about rebuilding what was lost. It’s about honoring the spirit of the people who make these islands what they are. It’s about standing together in love, taking responsibility, and giving back to the places that give us so much to hold onto.
It’s about preserving the place we call home.
